Nick Snow

GLORY AND GRACE is my third single. It serves as track 4 of WELCOME TO THE GARDEN, and is my most personal song I have written. G&G explores the sensation of loss and abandonment. It tells the story of finding oneself in the grief of moving on from a deeply dependent relationship where the speaker would do everything in their power to keep themselves with their person. “Glory and Grace was only too much” is the repeated refrain, saying that giving someone glory and grace to keep them in your life can sometimes be too much to give. G&G is love and loss, and sets the stage for how you will begin to rebuild yourself after the storm.

It is written about the sensation of having deeply rooted affections for someone, so much so that it can drive someone to forget themselves and their morality. So much that it can cause someone to do something as irrational as burning their own house down. It fits in the sonic universe and story of WELCOME TO THE GARDEN, and serves as track 3.
